Wearing Fiji’s – a fashion project – event was held last Saturday at the HFC Stadium in Suva.
Wearing Fiji is a project that advocates for fashion mentoring and education.
The mentoring project is designed to connect aspiring Fijian designers to established Fijian designers.
The project is in its third year and last Saturday’s show featured five student designers with their debut collections, and four mentors’ new collections.
Two guest designers also participated in the show.
The top five student designers were chosen from last year’s cohort, and they produced their debut collections with the help of funding from Paradise Beverages and Vodafone.
