A 33-year-old market vendor has lost his home following a residential fire at Marasa Road in Koromakawa, Nadi earlier this week.
The property, belonging to Nafiz Nawaz Khan, was completely destroyed in the blaze, with authorities confirming 100 per cent damage to the corrugated iron double-wall structure.
Mr Khan, his wife, and their child were not at home when the fire started, having left around 3am to sell produce at the market.
They were later informed by neighbours that their house had caught fire.
No injuries or fatalities were reported.
The home, which was powered by solar panels, was not insured.
A fire investigation is expected to be conducted to determine the cause of the incident.
