Update: 3:49PM THE Fiji Electricity Authority has started preparatory works to replace two fallen towers on the Nadarivatu line.
FEA chief executive officer Hasmukh Patel says the fallen towers have cut off power supply from the Nadarivatu Hydro Power Scheme.
“The live line team from the Central Division has departed for the Western Division and are awaiting road works to be completed before heavy machinery, equipment and other materials can be transported to Nadarivatu,” he said.
