The Fiji Navy has issued an alert on fake recruitment drive that is being advertised on social media.
“The Fiji Naval Division has been inundated with calls and messages on the recruitment advertising,” said Fiji Navy.
“Please note that the RFMF Naval Division (RFN) did not issue nor authorize this call for recruitment. This is a fake advertisement and the general public must take note.”
Fiji Navy said any call for recruitment will be made through Royal Fiji Military Forces through Navy head-quarters.
Any publication will be in the newspapers or the official pages of the RFN and RFMF.
