THE State has been given 14 days to file and serve agreed facts ahead of a pre-trial conference in the matter involving former corrections officer Epeli Laqeni.
The direction was issued at the High Court in Suva yesterday by Justice Usaia Ratuvili.
Mr Laqeni, who is charged with the murder of his de facto partner in Nakasi between September 3 and 5 last year, continues to have his bail extended as proceedings progress through the pre-trial phase.
He was cautioned to abide by his bail conditions until the conclusion of his criminal trial. The case will be recalled on June 9.
