Dynamite and a detonator normally used by mining companies have been found on a farm in Sigatoka.
Police have sought the assistance of Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) to investigate the discovery of explosive ordinances.
The dynamite stick, mining blast cables and detonator were discovered by a farmer of Nadeva in Valley Rd Sigatoka yesterday.
“It was found inside a water tank about 200m away from his house,” said police spokeswoman, Ana Naisoro.
“The scene has been cordoned off and we have sought RFMFs assistance.”
Investigations continue.
