Fiji Football Association CEO Mohammed Yusuf said fans and spectators can expect a tough battle between the top four teams in the 2023 Digicel Fiji FACT when the semi-finals of the competition kick start today at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.

“All four teams have been performing well throughout the competition, and other tournaments throughout the year, so fans can expect a very tough battle this weekend,” he said.

Ba, Lautoka, Rewa, and Labasa have made it to the top four spots in the competition.

“So far, Rewa is currently undefeated this season, and we are expecting a very tough clash when they take on Ba.”

In the semi-finals, Rewa will be facing a young Ba side while Labasa will be taking on western giants Lautoka.

“We had a very good turnout at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva last weekend, and we are expecting the same this weekend.

“We also want to call out to all football lovers, fans, and spectators to come out in numbers and support your respective teams.”

Meanwhile, the finals for this year’s Fiji FACT competition will be held at the same venue at 3pm.

“It’s very hard for us here to predict the two teams that will reach the finals, that’s how good all four teams have been throughout the competition.”
