The 2024 Rexona Bula Business House Futsal Cup is set to be an exciting event with 40 men’s teams and six women’s teams competing at the FMF Gymnasium in Laucala next Tuesday.

This year, the tournament will see the addition of four new teams, Tebara Group, DHL, Telecom Fiji Ltd, and the Ministry of Health Service team.

The Fiji Police, defending champions, are eager to defend their title, and despite their work schedules, they are making time to compete in the tournament after work hours.

A total prize money of $8250 will be up for grabs, with the men’s division winner pocketing $5250 and the women’s winner taking home $3000.

Bula Events director Alan Kumar said the event was made possible with the generous sponsorship of $25,000 provided by Rexona, through the Motibhai Group of Companies.

“This is the biggest sponsorship received for the event since 2015, we are very much delighted,” Kumar said.

“The theme for this year’s event is ‘Say no to drugs and domestic violence’, promoting important social messages.”

“The inclusion of new teams adds to the excitement of the competition, and the event organisers are looking forward to an action-packed tournament.

Kumar also took the opportunity to thank all the teams for their participation and their management for allowing them to be part of the competition.

The upcoming event is highly anticipated and promises to be a thrilling showcase of futsal talent.
