The Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua women’s team is eagerly anticipating an exciting match against the Melbourne Rebels in Melbourne tonight.
Head Coach Mosese Rauluni said; “The ladies are in good mood, recovered well and looks forward to an exciting match against the Rebels.”
Rauluni emphasised the need to improve their possessions.
“We’ve got to be more patient with the ball and come up with the points, that’s a big thing.
“We’ve talked about this at the start of this week, just executing better when we get into the green zone, putting the pressure on the opposition team,” Rauluni said.
Reflecting on their previous game against the Brumbies, where they secured a 20-7 victory, the former Flying Fijians scrumhalf acknowledged their shortcomings in this area.
“We didn’t do that well against the Brumbies but that was a big work on for us entering the 22 and just being patient with the ball, holding on to it. Not trying to give 50-50 passes or giving penalties,” he added.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 7:05 pm (FJT) tomorrow night.
