The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua side gears up for an intense battle as they face the Auckland Blues in the third quarterfinal of the Super Rugby Pacific on Saturday night at Eden Park.

Drua hooker Zuriel Togiatama emphasised the importance of individual preparation leading up to the crucial match.

“We have been in the quarter-final before and we know what it’s like, we will need to get our recovery done and prepare for the quarter-final,” Togiatama said.

He reiterated the need for individual readiness, acknowledging the team’s collective effort to strive for success.

“It will all come down to individual preparation, but we are pushing ourselves to do better and get that positive result for our country,” he added.

Flanker Motikiai Murray highlighted the team’s focus on mental and physical readiness as they brace themselves for the clash against the Blues.

“Our biggest challenge will be our mental preparation, if we think that we will win, we can do it.

“We will be focusing on playing a tough, physical game and also we will need to focus on playing a good mind game,” Murray said.

The Drua will take on the Blues in Auckland at 7.05pm in the third quarter-final on Saturday.

In the other quarter-finals, the Chiefs will take on the Reds in Hamilton at 7.05pm Friday, the Hurricanes will play the Rebels in Wellington at 4.35pm Saturday and the Brumbies will host the Highlanders in Canberra at 9.35pm on Saturday.
