Swire Shipping Fijian Drua players Vilive Miramira and Mesake Vocevoce have re-signed on with the club until 2027.

The club announced the extension of their stint yesterday, in what it says is a strong vote of confidence for the club and its forwards for the upcoming seasons of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific competition.

Miramira, who has been a foundation player of the club since it had its first season in 2022, was humbled by the opportunity to continue with the club once more.

“I’m grateful and blessed to sign again with the Drua for the next few years and it’s a great club, means a lot to me and my family,” the Naivaka, Bua player said.

“And I hope to make the club proud, and I know the club has got a lot to offer in the future.”

Miramira has made 36 appearances for the team and scored three tries with his strength and prowess as a utility player proving itself in being selected to don the white jersey for the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France.

Meanwhile, his re-signed teammate Vocevoce continues with the club after a stellar performance in just two seasons.

The Narewa, Nadi lock has already made 24 appearances and scored a try for the Drua and has earned eight caps as part of the FIJI Water Flying Fijians in last year’s Pacific Nations Cup and the Autumn International Test series in Europe.

Meanwhile, the Drua face the Blues this Friday at 7.05pm at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva in round 13 of the Super Rugby Pacific competition.
