The inaugural Fiji Airways Drua Awards was hailed a success by attendees who turned up in numbers to celebrate the success of the team in the 2023 Super Rugby competition.

Fijian Drua coach Mick Byrne said the players who walked away with awards deserved to be recognised for their work throughout the season.

“The players have been awesome,” he said.

“They turned up every day ready to get to work and they have been a pleasure to coach.

“They have worked very hard and I know they do everything they can to make you proud and they do everything they can for their families and for themselves.

“I can not ask for more from our group of players.”
