FOUR primary school students from Dreketi in Maucata have been selected to attend the 2018 APCC 30th Anniversary in Fukuoka, Japan.

The four are part of the Asia Pacific Children’s Convention (APCC) Junior Ambassadors Fiji who presented their i-tatau to the permanent secretary for the Ministry of Education, Heritage and Arts, Alison Burchell earlier today.

President of the Bridge Club, APCC Deepak Datt said the APCC was a civic movement, which was funded by local governments as well as supported by donations from corporate sponsors and the APCC Supporters Association.

“It helps to promote mutual understanding between the Asia Pacific regions and countries,” Mr Datt said.

This year’s APCC program will be held from July 12 to 24.
