Well Las Vegas is done and dusted and “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” but one thing that the American Eagles showed was that they had speed to burn in Baker.
Now we also have one in our arsenal like Perry Baker but we aren’t just using him, and I’m talking about my mataqali Banuve, sure he still needs experience and so did Baker and Isles when they first started in their first few tournaments, but got more confident as they got more game time.
And as the Kenyans and the Americans showed us speed is truly the key to winning tournaments.
Now until we find our next Delasau or Vunibaka, can I make a suggestion and give Banz the opportunity for he already has that speed we need and after a few tournaments he will be as deadly as Baker and Isles put together.
The plus side for us is he is a Fijian and we don’t need one or two series to start putting our names on the map, as I am sure he will be able to pick up after two or three legs and show the rugby world that he is truly the Pacific sprint king.
Anyway good outing boys, keep up the momentum and good luck for the Vancouver leg.
