CAN I politely ask Terry Hulme (FT 24/11) what he finds distasteful in the use of the terms ignorance and education (deficit)?
These are very real human conditions, aren’t they?
And many in our midst give evidence of that through their public utterances.
What’s wrong in pointing that out?
Is Terry stretching the notion of “political correctness”?
