AFTER announcing a fourth weekly flight to Hong Kong, national carrier Fiji Airways has unveiled plans to commence direct flights to Singapore next year.
In a statement, airline chairman Nalin Patel said they were working to finalise the required Government, industry and airline partnerships.
This, he said, would be crucial for the success of the new route.
“Talks are progressing in the same regard for flights to China and other potential destinations,” Mr Patel said.
“We’ll be in a position to share further details once the necessary Government, regulatory and partnership agreements are confirmed.”
This is in line with the five-year strategic plan of the airline.
