Justin Ho’s Counsel, Samuela Heritage claims that his client was threatened by accused Jale Aukerea during the break of the 4.15 methamphetamine trial at the Lautoka High Court.
During cross-examinations this afternoon, Mr Heritage said Mr Aukerea had told Mr Ho “what happened, the cat got your tongue”
Mr Heritage added that Mr Aukerea said to Mr Ho for him to shut the f**k up!
Mr Heritage said his client, Mr Ho was scared when he heard this.
He said that the Police officer that was with Mr Ho at the cell-block of the Lautoka High Court had heard Mr Aukerea making these comments.
Mr Aukerea told the court that he did not threaten Mr Ho and denied these claims.
Meanwhile, Mr Heritage has informed court this evening that his client (Justin Ho)was going to lodge a complaint at the Police station against the threats by Mr Aukerea.
However, High Court Judge Justice Aruna Aluthge told Mr Heritage that his client can do a written statement instead to the police.
The trial continues tomorrow with Ratu Osea Levula and Viliame Colowaliku taking the stands.
