DAV Girls College will return to the Coca-Cola Games this year after a lapse of two.
The school held its athletics interhouse today at the ANZ National Stadium in Suva to prepare for the games.
“It is a big year and a new beginning for us,” said the school’s head of physical education, Laite Lawedrau.
“Our last interhouse was two years ago and also our last appearance at the Coca- Cola Games.
“We are lucky we are able to utilise the ANZ Stadium for our interhouse and future preparations.”
Lawedrau said the response from students was overwhelming.
“This year, we aim to field an athlete in every event at the zone meet and the Coca-Cola Games.”
