Forgiveness has been granted!
The families of late CRW soldiers accepted the apologies of the Fiji Military Forces and Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka in an emotional reconciliation event held at the Queen Elizabeth Barracks today.
Mr Rabuka in addressing the families, senior government officials and other officials said it all started with him – through the 1987 coup.
He asked for the families forgiveness assuring all present at the event that such an event was needed.
Former Counter Revolutionary Warfare OC Shane Steven who was recently released from prison as also present.
