LAUTOKA Crusaders U20 will prove this Saturday that they have some top skillful and genuine rugby league warriors in their team.
This was echoed by Crusaders U20 team manager, Daniel Tifere Roqara as he thanked God on behalf of his team for his blessings, enabling them to progress through to the semis for their U20 side.
He confirmed that this year had been tough preparing the senior grades to come up to play in Lautoka and their away games.
“The availability of players was not convincing enough, as most of them could not make it for training for various reasons and therefore we had to use most of our secondary school boys, represented from Ba Provincial secondary and Natabua High School U18 and U19 teams,” added Tifere.
“We are looking forward to our semi-final game against Nadi Aviators, we know they have beaten us once during the competition, but hopefully we will beat them this Saturday.
Tifere added that the Crusaders will not leave any stones unturned, and would give Nadi a good run for their money.
But despite the fact that there have been financial setbacks, it has not dampened their spirits to press on week after week as it all boils down to their love of the sport of rugby league.
Tifere has urged all supporters, depending on the game venue, to come and support the Maroons as they will play their best game this Saturday.
