The Ministry of Health and Medical Services will lift the lockdown orders for areas in Nasinu and Ra tomorrow.
A statement from the ministry said these areas included Makoi, Naria in Rakiraki as well as Dokonavatu, Nanukuloa and Naiserelagi in Savoi, Ra.
“These areas have gone for more than 14 days (the incubation period for COVID-19) without new cases.”
“As a result, the borders of these lockdown areas will be lifted at 4am on 23rd May, 2021.”
The Ministry of Health has also announced three new cases of COVID-19, which brings the total number of active cases in isolation to 65.
