THE Nadi football side has all but secured a spot in the semi-finals of the Courts Inter District Championship underway in Suva.

After a hard fought 2-1 win over Suva yesterday, the Jetsetters defeated Tavua 5-1.

Nadi’s Rusiate Matererega put his side ahead in the first spell before Ratu Dau equalized for Tavua.

Imran Shah scored his second goal of the tournament to see Nadi leading 2-1 at the break.

Jamaican Horrace James scored for Nadi in the second spell before Raul Krishna grabbed a brace for a comfortable victory in the end.

Nadi will now hope that the Suva-Rewa match this evening ends in a draw to confirm their spot in the semi-finals.
