Update: 7:57PM A COUPLE was ordered by the High Court in Suva to pay a Real Estate company a sum of $3000 in costs of the action filed by Titus Real Estate.
This was after the couple, Mohammed Afzal Khan and Shairul Begum Khan, entered into two other sale and purchase agreements with one Subhash Chand on the sale of their land in Namadi, Suva.
The initial sale and purchase agreement which was set up by Titus Real Estate was $357,000. However, the couple entered into two other fresh agreements without the knowledge of the plaintiff, Titus Real Estate.
In his judgment, Justice Kamal Kumar also ordered that the defendants (couple) pay the plaintiff $23,000.
The amount was to be the plaintiff’s commission had the initial sale and purchase agreement took place.
