Ba Town Council’s CEO Priya Singh has resigned, a special administrator for the municipality has confirmed.
Ms Singh was appointed to the position in February 2020.
Speacial administrator Yogesh Naidu said Ms Singh resigned for personal reasons.
“She resigned two weeks ago and isn’t with Ba Town Council anymore,” he said.
“We now have one of our directors’ looking after the CEO’s job.”
Questions on the issue sent to Ministry of Local Government permanent secretary Seema Sharma last week remained unanswered.
