There is an increase in the number of people dying to this scourge called NCDs and the bigwigs are passionately advocating a change in lifestyle by eating a lot of local vegetables and fruits.

The costs and the quantity do not add up, alas gone are the days when one could climb the mango tree for a fresh and free mango or kavika for that matter as we make way for development.
I request if the head honchos could regulate these prices, so the common man could also live a healthy life.
As it is, imported fruits cost less than our local fruits or could be the same amount with better quality.
And don’t get me started on the grog, those one dollar bags look more like fifty cents if you ask me.
A friend was saying it’s much cheaper to buy alcohol because the quantity and quality is parallel to each other, but that is another story.
