TOTAL Fiji Limited will be launching another new version of Excellium diesel into the local market in the coming months.
The new product is the TOTAL Excellium Truck, a diesel which is specifically designed for buses and trucks.
TOTAL Fiji Limited managing director Martin John McCarthy said TOTAL had been talking to some of its bus customers because it supports a lot of different bus companies in Fiji and the bus association was one of the biggest TOTAL customers around.
“The product is something you will not see at the service stations because it is what we call a business to business product,” Mr McCarthy said. “Business to business product means we have commercial installations inside garages and depots of different bus companies or different truck companies.
“It is good to see that people are actually seeing the positive effects that Excellium diesels have on engines now. We are running tests with a particular bus company at the moment and by the end of the year we will finish a real measured test in Fiji on a whole fleet of buses.
“We will be able to talk to everybody at that time to explain exactly how improved the performances of those buses are as the consequence of using Excellium fuel.”
