DIGICEL Fiji has launched its new top up application for customers as it continues to embrace new technologies to improve its services.
Digicel said the new app for prepay Digicel phone users could be downloaded free from Google Play and iTunes App stores.
It said customers can use their existing Digicel online top up accounts to top up Digicel accounts domestically and internationally.
Digicel Group chief commercial officer for Asia Pacific Awais Malik said the mobile app would benefit families and friends in their Digicel markets.
He said the top up app could be used to top up mobile credit in any of the 32 Digicel markets in the Caribbean, central and south America and the South Pacific.
“The facility to send mobile credit to prepaid phone users through mobile app is another big step we’re taking as a leading communications provider that drives stronger connections between individuals, businesses, and mobile subscribers around the world,” he said in a statement this week.
Mr Malik said offering mobile top up as a service was not only of benefit to their loyal customers but it was also an innovative new way to continue to grow their business.
