ONE of the biggest manufacturers of natural beauty therapies and products has come a long way since its inception in 1996 by mother and daughter team Gaetane and Andree Austin.
In light of Pure Fiji’s recent award for the best body oil product for 2015 by coveted Les Nouvelles Esthétiques & Spa magazine, director Gaetane said they were proud of their achievements so far.
She said the company employed 140 staff members with about 600 craftsmen and women in rural communities that support their production of raw materials and handmade paper.
“Pure Fiji is recognised as one of the top 10 organic brands. We have a very strong and supportive following even on our Facebook page with 140,000 fans,” she said.
Ms Austin said they were exporting their products to the US, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Czech Republic and China.
