Not everything done by the previous administration was bad, says Tui Cakau Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu.

While people may have different views about the former government, Ratu Naiqama said some projects it initiated had benefited communities.

“One of those projects was the construction of the Cakaudrove Provincial Council office,” he said.

He said the Government had done its part by providing the building, and now it was time for the people to contribute towards completing the project.

He told the Valelevu clan to organise fundraising initiatives to help furnish and equip the provincial council office.

“The fundraising(s) will help make the office fully functional and ready to serve the people of Cakaudrove.”

He said the office was built for the people and completing it would require everyone’s support and co-operation.

“The provincial council office belongs to the people, and supporting its completion shows unity and appreciation for the development that has taken place.”

He said the project was an opportunity for the people of Cakaudrove to come together and support a facility that would benefit current and future generations.
