FIJI Labour Party leader Mahendra Chaudhry is optimistic of a change in government after casting his vote yesterday.
Chaudhry and his wife Virmati cast their votes at the University of the South Pacific’s Statham campus polling venue at Vatuwaqa in Suva.
He said he had been in contact with the party’s candidates around the country via phone from yesterday morning.
“I am going out to as many polling stations as I can,” he said.
