Update: 2:55PM CANE growers will receive their third cane payment of $15.13 per tonne this month.
Sugar Industry Tribunal commissioner Tim Brown made the announcement yesterday.
This will bring the total paid out to growers for the 2014 season crop to $65.22 per tonne.
Last year growers received more than $88 per tonne, a record payout for the industry.
