Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has arrived on Taveuni for the traditional celebration known as ‘vakasenuqanuqa’ for the President, Na Gone Turaga Bale na Tui Cakau, Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu.
Mr Rabuka presented his isevusevu to the traditional link in Somosomo village or the ‘Mataki Navatu’ this afternoon.
While presenting his sevusevu, he said, the purpose for his visit was to show support to Ratu Naiqama.
The vanua of Cakaudrove have also arrived on the Garden Island for tomorrow’s ceremony to celebrate the achievement of their high chief Ratu Naiqama in being appointed the President of Fiji.
