Love, tolerance and respect. This was the important message highlighted by the students of Natabua High School during the 2023 cadet passing-out parade on August 4.

The school that is famous for forming intricate messages in their formation chose to display a ‘hand cradling a heart’ this year signifying the 2023 theme.

Language department teacher Laniana Ratabacaca said as cadets, the students were urged to march forward with determination infused with discipline showcasing synchronised movements in creating a symbol of love, tolerance and respect.

“In a time when division, hatred, and intolerance seem to be spreading, embracing these qualities becomes all the more crucial,” she said.

“As student cadets of Natabua High School, they have the power to make a difference in the world starting with the kindness they show each other every day and these attributes shall transit and be well accepted by everyone today.”
