THE Nadi business community has been urged to support the proposed construction of a multi-million dollar indoor stadium that could seat 35,000 people.
While speaking to more than 50 businessmen and women from the Nadi Chamber of Commerce and Industry yesterday, Fiji Chamber Commerce and Industry president Peter Mazey said Nadi had an advantage over Suva where accommodation was an issue.
“The investment would be between $100 million and $150 million and I believe that this would be a very good investment because of the massive returns that will come out of it,” he said.
“This is also a very opportune time for Nadi because it is about to be declared a city.
