Bred Bank Labasa open its services today

The Bred Bank Fiji Labasa branch which was commissioned on Saturday night will open its services in the North today.

Minister for Multi-Ethnic Affairs and Sugar Industry Charan Singh while officiating at the event highlighted one of the Coalition Government’s aims was to create equal opportunity for every citizen, and such investment by the bank is a major boost to the Northern economy.

Mr Singh said it was Government’s responsibility to increase competitiveness in the marketplace to promote innovation, technological advancement and economic sustainability.

“This new premises is a great addition and inspiration to the fresh phase of developments happening in Labasa and indeed Bred Bank’s presence with its financial services adds commercial and economic value that will empower the people of the North,” Mr Singh said.
