Update: 2:34PM FIJI’S Attorney-General and Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum recently met with the Bred Bank Group CEO Olivier Klein.
A Government statement issued last night stated that the A-G informed Mr Klein on the current trajectory of the Fijian economy, which he said had seen an unprecedented eight years of consecutive growth.
Mr Sayed-Khaiyum was also quoted adiving the visiting executive of the various investment opportunities in untapped sectors that were available to financial institutions like Bred Bank, such as the transportation industry.
The statement stated that Mr Klein also briefed the A-G on the bank’s global operations in South East Asia, which includes the three in Pacific.
