THE 2019 Kontiki Finance/Rena Distributors Banana Cup tournament today crowned new winners.
Ramesh Chand and Martin Fong won in the men’s division while Pacific Games gold medallist Litia Tikoisuva and Losalini Tukai won in the women’s division.
Men’s pairs Chand and Fong defeated David Aitcheson and Ishwar Lal 16-13 in the finals.
Tikoisuva and Tukai won 12 points, which was the best of 6 rounds of round-robin game in the women’s pair’s competition.
A total of 37 bowlers participated in this year’s Banana Cup competition.
