Big win for Nadroga

SAMU Yalayala scored a brace of tries in Nadroga’s thumping 53-3 victory against Tavua during the Skipper Cup clash at Garvey Park yesterday.

The Stallions showed a lot of class romping to a nine-try win.

Boosted with the likes of former Fiji 7s captain Nemani Nagusa and Jonetani Ralulu, the visitors had too much firepower in their tank to post one of the highest victory margins in the competition.

Avete Daveta also claimed a brace of tries. Nagusa, Eroni Vasiteri, Seru Cakobau, Timoci Sauvoli and Apete Salawaqavuka scored the other tries.

Ralulu converted four tries.

Tevita Nairoyasi slotted the lone penalty for the hosts.

Tavua has only one win from four games while Nadroga has three wins from four.

Nadroga led 27-3 at the break.
