A big match awaits the Kaiviti Silktails in Lautoka today when they take on Ron Massey Cup competition leaders St Mary’s at Churchill Park.

The Wes Naiqama-coached side have been training at Nadovu Park in preparation for the game.

“Every week is a big week with two points up for grabs,” said Naiqama.

The former Fiji Bati captain added that it was an exciting week ahead for the boys after few weeks on the road.

“We are looking forward to a good challenge against the St Mary’s this Saturday.

“We have two players return from injury plus we got three senior boys come back to the squad after they moved to Ipswich to play in the Queensland Cup at the start of the year.”

He said the returning boys would add depth and bring in the much needed experience to the young Silktails squad.

“We hope to see a lot of fans come out on Saturday to support us. We are trying to generate more interest and support from the rugby league community in Fiji.”
