Update: 3:16PM THE Bahai of Fiji will this year celebrate their bicentennial celebrations to commemorate the birth of Bahaullah, the founder of the Bahai Faith.
In a
statement, to mark the occasion the Bahai
community of Fiji have planned various events such as inter-faith gatherings and
community-building activities planned out at national levels in the lead up to
the celebrations.
“Bahaullah
taught that there is only one God, that all of the world’s
religions are from God, and that now is the time for humanity to recognize its
oneness and unite,” it said.
The Bahai
Community of Fiji will be joining others from around the world who are
preparing to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Bahaullah on
October 22 this year.
