Bible prophecy

Lunik Liu’s letter titled: Existentialism and God, inspired me to highlight why our world including Fiji is becoming a lunatic asylum, losing its moral compass resulting in increase of sexual immorality, greed, self-gratification, violence and lust for power (FT 23/8).

The proclamation that this world is a lunatic asylum, kind of confirms Bible prophecy that Satan knows his time is short and he and his evil angels are working overtime to deceive the world by teaching that the Creator’s moral law is not binding anymore. The masses are taught that the only important decision one could make is to believe in Jesus Christ and one does not have to obey what the Bible teaches as evidence of being saved.

Jesus said the distinction would be clear, as the masses would be on the wide path leading to destruction, but only a few find and walk in the narrow path which leads to eternal life.

Only one human being walked this earth without falling to all the temptations fired at Him by Satan, qualifying Him to die as ransom for humanity’s sin and to rise again from the grave, because His atoning sacrifice on our behalf has been accepted by Heaven.

Satan knows that he is a defeated enemy and that those who allow Christ to be their Lord and Saviour will become a threat to his mission in turning the whole world into a lunatic asylum.

He will work through the powers that be to get rid of the moral law or 10 Commandments and to make laws to suppress the teaching of the Word of God and the preaching of the gospel to the whole world.

The last thought in Lunik Liu’s letter revealed that strolling through this madness, he marvels at the small band of God’s warriors upholding the faith, becoming the exception rather than the norm.

It is imperative for us, as we believe in God’s mighty hand at work in Fiji’s first ever Olympic Games gold medal, to choose to be the exception, to be transformed by Christ and empowered to rescue and save those who are in the lunatic asylum, before time run out.
