THE Vodafone Fiji Bati’s 22-36 near-slaughter of the Australian Kangaroos in their round two 2026 Rugby League World Cup clash was the highest-viewed program on Australian television last Sunday.

The match was aired on Australia’s Channel 7 and seen by an average of 1.51 million and reached three million viewers.

Australia’s desperate yet successful attempt to release itself of the Bati’s compelling grip beat out other current affairs programs airing that night “Down Under”.

The Bati face New Zealand this Sunday at 4.30pm at the Cbus Super Stadium on the Gold Coast in Australia.
