More than 40 participants from different organisations gathered for the Frank Hilton Organisation biggest Wheelbarrow Race fundraiser captains run at Albert Park in Suva on Saturday morning.

The eighth Amazing Wheelbarrow Race is set to be held this Saturday, and is looking to generate a total of more than $3000.

The organisation’s CEO Sureni Perera said the event would be a fun-filled event, where corporate organisations pledge their support to Frank Hilton, and participants would also be able to obtain a fund me link for the virtual race where it allows others to push their wheelbarrow in destinations around the country with a $10 donation.

“The virtual platform can reach anyone, anywhere in the world so there’s more opportunities for people to participate and be part of the race,” Ms Perera said.

“Every dollar will go towards changing the lives of children with disabilities in Fiji.”
