Fiji Airways has cancelled its flight to Tuvalu citing adverse weather conditions in Funafuti.

In a statement, the national airline advised its passengers of the cancellation of flight FJ281 from Nausori that was scheduled for today.

“As a result, we regret to advise that bags which could not be carried on previous flights will not be transported to Funafuti today and will remain in safe custody at Suva,” it stated.

“Affected passengers will be contacted directly by our team to update them on all alternative travel arrangements.”

The airline stated it would communicate directly with guests about the revised arrival date of their baggage.
