BA women rugby side will be looking to build on their breakthrough victory when they take on Naitasiri in another round of the Subrails Marama Championship at 4R Stadium, Govind Park, today.
The Ba side secured its first win of the competition last week after defeating Nadi at Prince Charles Park, giving the team a much-needed boost heading into today’s encounter.
However, the victory has not lifted Ba from 10th place on the Marama Championship points table, and the side will be determined to produce another strong performance against a challenging Naitasiri outfit.
Ba head coach Sitiveni Kurivitu said the team remained positive and continued to work hard during training as they prepare for the match.
With the competition entering another important stage, Ba will be hoping to carry the confidence from last week’s win into today’s match and put together another positive outing.
The Ba women’s match against Naitasiri kicks off at 1pm and is sandwiched between the Under-20 and men’s matches at the same venue.
Fans can watch the action at 4R Stadium for $10 for adults and $5 for children aged five to 11.
