Ba continued to maintain its dominance in the Western Futsal playoffs following a hard fought 2-1 victory over Rakiraki yesterday.

The Men in Black were determined and showed early intent with a solid defensive setup and fast transitions on the counter.

Their pressure paid off when Epeli Lairoti broke the deadlock with a powerful strike.

Ba continued to press forward with pace and creativity, and it wasn’t long before Shaif Ali doubled their advantage.

His well-placed finish came after a sharp attacking move that caught the Rakiraki defence off guard.

In a surprise appearance, former Ba Football Club interim board president Dr. Diva Singh made his debut for Ba Futsal.

Singh’s entry brought a fresh sense of leadership on the court and was well received by the team as they pushed forward for a win.

The win puts Ba back in strong contention in the Western playoffs.
