Ba midfielder Nabil Begg headed a goal from eight yards in the last play of the game to give his side a 1-all draw against Rewa during the 2022 Courts Inter District Championship at Suva’s HFC Bank Stadium last night.

After two rounds of pool games last night, none of the eight teams have confirmed a spot in the semi-final.

Ba went into the match as favourites after thumping Lautoka 3-nil on day one.

The Men in Black had their work cut out for them when their defender Jonetani Newa was shown a direct red card in the first spell. Despite a man down, Ba had more opportunities in the match.

It was Abbu Zaid who got the first goal late into the second spell, capitalising on a mistake by Ba defender Rahul Naresh. Begg then equalised, throwing the pool wide open.
