Dayals Sawmillers Ba FC overcame Global Care Suva FC 2-1 at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva yesterday.
The men in black were made to work for the victory after being held in the first half before producing a much-improved performance after the break to score twice and secure points.
Head coach for the side Ravinesh Kumar said Suva deserved credit for giving his side a tough encounter.

“We have six matches left and we cannot afford to lose if we want to win the Extra Premier League.”
The coach also acknowledged the strong support from Ba fans.
