The Sukuna Park in Suva is buzzing with women entrepreneurs from as far as Lautoka to showcase and market their products during the AWEsome Fiji Christmas Fair.
US ambassador Joseph Cella said the fair was in partnership with the amazing new entrepreneurs from the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE).
He said it was a beautiful tradition they had started in the Christmas season.
“Looking around I would say success breeds success and so far I would this is a success,” he said.
He said they were grateful for the engagement by WEBC and the Makoi Centre for Vocational Training, adding that the training had elevated existing strong women entrepreneurs to another level of learning different tactics.
Stalls set up at the park are offering products such as food, pastries and savouries, handmade bags, clothes, flowers and other items designed and made by the women entrepreneurs.
The fair will be open until 8pm this evening.
