FOR the first time in history, the newly renovated Arts Village in Pacific Harbour will host the launch of the 2025 season of the Vodafone Fiji Fashion Week (FJFW) on May 3.
FJFW managing director Ellen Whippy-Knight said the Arts Village would provide an ethereal and historically rich setting for the event.
“It is extremely critical that FJFW does not lose sight of our culture, of who we once were, as that has shaped who we are today,” Ms Whippy-Knight said.
“The gradual development of what we once wore will be reflected in this new show, telling our story through fashion.”
This year, Arts Village will serve as the backdrop, offering visitors and fashion enthusiasts an authentic Fijian experience infused with storytelling, history and creativity.
“Guests can expect an evening filled with spectacular runway moments, cultural performances, and an inspiring journey into Fiji’s past, present, and future through the lens of fashion.”
